Publisher Description
NapkinBox enables exchanging text messages with someone who is less than 20 meters and simultaneously becomes visible in the application. Thus, NapkinBox facilitates contact between people who have already established eye contact (a look or other codes of nonverbal communication) . NapkinBox embodies the concept of "complicity messaging " , symbolized by a napkin box . A napkin is still a way to break the ice or leave a secret message (business, etc.) to another person. NapkinBox offers a very high level of privacy and security, and has nothing to do with social discovery applications and geolocated chats like tinder, grinder or badoo. NapkinBox uses Bluetooth to enable the localization inside buildings, but apart from this similarity has very different goals or firechat and shortwave. NapkinBox can be very useful in a pub, a nightclub, a class, a train, a cruise, etc. .
